About MerchShift

MerchShift provides flexible field execution designed around how retail stores actually operate.

We partner with retailers to support in-store priorities with the right people, at the right time, and with minimal disruption.

Led by field and operations professionals

MerchShift is led by a management team with deep, hands-on experience building and managing field operations, merchandising programs, and retail execution strategies across the U.S.

Collectively, our leadership team has held leadership roles at established retail service organizations including Advantage Solutions, BDS, MarketSource, and ActionLink, as well as high-growth retail startups such as mVentix, Instawork and Jyve.
Because we’ve operated on both sides of the equation — enterprise programs and emerging platforms — we understand how to balance speed, quality, and accountability at scale.
This combined experience spans national and regional retail execution programs:
  • Grocery, mass, club, drug, and specialty channels
  • Large-scale field team leadership and contractor networks
  • Rapid startup deployment and on-demand execution models
That perspective is built into everything we do, from how contractors are vetted to how in-store work is verified and reported to clients.

Built around the store

Most third-party labor models are built for brands. That often means store teams are asked to accommodate outside priorities, timelines, and reporting requirements that don’t always align with daily operations.

MerchShift was built from the opposite perspective. We work directly with retailers to support store standards, workflows, and expectations — not override them. Our approach is designed to fit into existing operations, not compete with them.

Execution that fits real retail environments

Retail environments are dynamic. Staffing needs change, store conditions vary, and execution has to adapt without creating friction.

MerchShift provides flexible field support that integrates into real-world store conditions. Work is planned with visibility, carried out with accountability, and documented in a way that supports oversight, without adding noise for store teams.

Standards, oversight, and accountability

Every assignment is supported by clear expectations, defined standards, and structured reporting.

Field personnel are vetted and matched to the work they perform, with oversight designed to ensure consistency and reliable execution across locations.

Our focus is simple: deliver work that meets retailer expectations and provides confidence that execution is happening as intended

Retailer-first by design

MerchShift operates with a retailer-first mindset.

That means flexibility without chaos, visibility without disruption, and execution that supports, rather than competes with, store operations.

If you’re looking for field execution that works with your stores—not around them—we should talk.
